After a hot day's trekking or exploring Mayan archaeological sites, nothing beats slipping into the clear, bath-warm waters of Lake Petén Itzá. Watching the sunset or, even sunrise, from the pristine water of the lake, is a serenely relaxing experience. We have a swimming deck on the grounds of Nitun for easy access to the lake. For those who prefer to explore further, we also have kayaks on-site.
